1. Online: You can use the on-line preregistration application on this website, either by clicking on this link!, or by clicking on any link on this site that says Register Now!. When you finish entering your information through the preregistration application, you may either pay your registration fee online using PayPal, or you may print out the preregistration listing that the application provides and mail it to us with your check or money order. More information about where to send the form along with your payment can be found on the preregistration screen. The pre-registration rates change over time, please see the “Deadlines” section below for more information. Penguicon will confirm your registration by e-mail within two weeks after your payment is received; if you do not receive a confirmation within that time Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions.
2. By U.S. Mail: Just fill out the online registration form, submit it, print it out, and mail it to Penguicon P.O. Box 1332 Ann Arbor, MI 48106-1332 with a Check or Money Order.
3. In person: You may preregister in person at certain other events. We will be sponsoring a "Café Penguicon" party at ConClave, Confusion, DucKon, and MarCon Science Fiction and Fantasy conventions and Penguicon registrations will be taken there. Also, Penguicon will be sending our staff to occasional Linux Users Group meeting to take registrations. If you belong to a Linux (or other computer oriented) Users Group, and would like us to come to your meeting, please send an e-mail request to [email protected]. (Penguicon has no connection with either ConClave, Confusion, Duckon, or Marcon.)

Notice: Pre-registration fees are NOT refundable.

Age Limits:

Also, in order to preregister for a youth rate, the person registering must be under the age of 18 at the time of the convention, not just when they preregister. If the person turns 18 before the convention (April 20, 2007) they must preregister at an adult rate. Attendees will be asked to show a photo ID with age in order to receive their convention badge.

There is no preregistration fee for children age 12 or under. Children in this age range are welcome at the convention, and will not be charged for admission. However, parents should be aware that Penguicon does not provide any programming or services for children age 12 or under, and will require that all children in this age range are always accompanied by a registered convention attendee. Unaccompanied children will not be permitted into non-public convention areas and functions. Please also consider that some evening and night convention functions may involve topics or dress that may be inappropriate for children. Penguicon can not be held responsible for any unaccompanied minors.

Deadlines:

Please note that if payment is sent by mail, the preregistration form and payment must be postmarked prior to the end of the preregistration period in order to apply the preregistration rate for that period. For instance, if you fill out the preregistration information for one adult on August 23 and mail the payment, the payment must be postmarked no later than September 1, 2006 in order to use the $30 per adult rate.

Registration At The Door:

After pre-registration closes on March 31, 2007, the only way to attend Penguicon will be to register at the door. Registration is open 24 hours. When it closes in the middle of the night, the Operations center can register you. At the door registration will be available both for the weekend and for single days, at these rates:

Saturday evening starting at 5pm there will be a special events only registration for $10. This gets you in to the Masquerade, Drumming and all other evening programming. It does NOT get you into the hospitality suites.
